The average 2-3 year f/o here at XJT will make 45k to 55k (even post concessions) without working too hard....still not enough for the effort and the sacrifices that are made, and the same could be said across the board.
This is why is so important that guys understand the correlation between the crj900 and the DC9, and how flying a 900 replaces a DC9 at the new and improved Delta with guys making a third of their counterparts flying the 9.
The same thing goes for any other regional carrier in one way or the other. All flying should go back to mainline, all of it, 50 seats, 70, 90, and then, maybe then, we can honestly answer the question of how much we're worth.
