Whats the sense in keeping people about for an entire 1+ yr with more cuts on the way from DL. Im call 1st (that it really matters at this point) and I have flown 1 stand up since the middle of november. Enough already. Have some balls already and pull the trigger or come out and say specifically we will not furlough.
I don't think it has anything to do with having balls or not. They obviously don't want to furlough. They have had the best reason to for some time and are holding out for some reason. I trust that they are waiting until they can't wait any longer. We heard grumblings of united flying earlier this summer and perhaps they have been waiting to hear on that. If we do furlough, that means that nothing is in the works. I'm confident that current management values management/pilot relationships and is trying to maintain a good one.
