Why don't the airlines just raise the price of the fare instead of tacking on all these extra fees? I'd much rather pay $470 than pay $400 and be charged for phone booking, extra baggage, premium exit row seat, and WATER!
It's funny, I used to think the same thing until I ended up on the street recently. Now that I'm not making the "big bucks", I don't care about extras. I just wanted to see my family this holiday season...and didn't want to pay 800 dollars to do so. I gladly paid 250 elsewhere.
