As a pilot you with any corporation, you will spend a good deal of time with executives. The executives have adopted the corporate culture that was created and evolved over the years. Crews need to adapt to that culture. During the interview process H/R, through the interview process determines whether or not the candidate can adapt to such culture.

The same applies to the airline industry too.
