It is almost a certainty that you won't be able to pick your domicile once hiring resumes...so assuming you would be based at DFW and not LGA or SJU or MIA or ORD or JFK or LAX is not a good idea. You will go where you are needed based on seniority, and DFW with displacements, isn't looking hot right now.

The 'pick your domicile' thing was a great idea to attract people at a time when the airline was able to do it, but the chances of it coming back are not good.
