As for the payscale...you can talk to ALPA about that.We get 'draft' pay (1.5) very often as well due to all the open time and lack of qualified plane movers.
Man you missed the point all together; the reason companies like compass have a 50 seat payscale on a 70+ aircraft is because alterego companies like Freedom A and gojets set the stage for lowering the bar. TSA just wanted better pay on the 70 seaters...enter gojets. Mesa wanted better pay on the 70+ seaters...enter Freeedom A, forget the fact that they circumvented an existing contract, forget the fact that many lost their jobs, it's the damage they caused the industry.
