Just to follow up on this...I was talking to a B-1B pilot yesterday at the Abbotsford Air Show (YXX) and he said that any Canadian citizen can join the USN or USAF, put in a 2yr tour and leave with training and a US citizenship. I asked, "Are you sure?" He said thats exactly what he did (originally from Calgary) but he loved the USAF so much, he decided to stay and become a B-1B guy.
