We also hope that the RJ drivers elsewhere will fight for our profession. Sadly, many RJ drivers are willing to work for peanuts under the promise of an upgrade and the "possibility" of a move to the majors.

I completely agree. The sad part is that it is hard to fight one at a time. For5 years, we have been standing at the top waving our *****, or whatever, and now the knife is near. Someone else has got to take a stand as well. Sounds to me like the ASA guys and gals just might be doing that right now as well!!
