The Dutch never flew Phantoms, but US Phantoms were based there (Soesterberg Air Base).

The "Iron Cross" threw me at first, but it is a Brit jet--so probably a Brit jet based in Germany. That, and even 68 years after the Battle of Britain, the Brits still hate the Germans and needle them at every opportunity. How many times I had to play 'referee' at the bar for some NATO exercise.....

The Brits are normally cleared (airspace-dependent) to fly at 100 ft...but sometimes they are 'off' just a bit.
