Whatever the case may be, this John guy is making an idiot out of himself. So he stops trying to do what he can to get non-revs on.

You're really stickin' it to the man now. They'll probably be calling you any day to ask how you would like your refund check for the money you overpaid for travel benefeits.

the more restrictive (heavier) pax weights as handed to us by the ramp/gate and leave on the hundreds of pounds of extra/un-needed fuel the dispatcher put on for "contingency". Or in the case of a balance issue adding balast to the cargo to balance out the jumpseater.
