I missed one little detail while reading the OP and that was this one small sentence .
"What a/c the f/a flew IN on" which say's to me that said f/a was OFF DUTY .
So guess what ,It's no one's business what they do when they are OFF Duty !
So in short as long as they are following company policy its NOYB !

Y'all fly safe now and watch out for them power lines
