I went sick in the field on this contract.....went to the emergency room blah blah blah. Crew Scheduling was not the nicest, Duty Officer and ACP were great.

I actually stayed an extra day in the hotel (which they picked up the bill) because I was too sick to travel (approximately 36 hours after my "sick" call). Built the pairing with a Deadhead home, not on a FDX j/s to MEM.

If this happens to anyone, I would suggest leaving a message with your ACP for any assistance. When I did the expense report on FOX, just added the email from the ACP permitting the travel, as I had zero bank money for the month due to my schedule, and it was taken care of by Crew Travel Audit.

This was my experience. It was not contentious and worked as advertised per the contract.
