If you have a beater, park on State St. near or under the I-5 overpass (no meters or time limits), then walk down to one of the garages on Laurel and take their bus...the drivers know what you're up to, so tip them well. Or you could just walk to the commuter terminal from there and take the red bus to term 1 or 2.
