FedEx has already announced it will be retire all (14) DC-10s,
park all (66) A310s and replace its 85 B727s with B757s. The shipping giant has also said it is overstaffed by 700 pilots, though for now FedEx plans to cut flight hours to avoid furloughs.

Since the comment on retiring all (14) DC-10s is not true (unless they are defining the conversion to a MD-10 as a retirement), the other statements of 'fact' become suspect. We know the plan of the 57s eventually replacing the 27 flying - that's nothing new.
