Just to be perfectly clear, neither I nor any of the guys I know carry any resentment towards DECs. We realize the company makes the policy and fully understand that you have to do what's in the best interest of your family and career. I've enjoyed flying with DECs at about the same rate as with other Capt's. (There's always the 5%ers in any group...)

Hopefully, if you want it, you'll get the job. All I've ever asked from DECs, and I'm sure you get this, is a little sensitivity/discretion for the guys screwed by the changing policies at EK.
