Hum.... i guess I just didnt see those 300 hour wonders everyone talks about. when I was a newhire at S5 in Nov 07 our class of 22 had from a low of 900 hours to a high of 2800 hours.... now... some of the guys had really low amounts of ME time.... 25 hours or so.... but we didnt have these 300 hour pilots. I did know of a fem hired at republic with 380 hours.... but that was an exception.... she had nearly 200 hours of ME time. FWIW... I think those days are long gone of course I think it would help if the FAA would require BOTH pilots in a 121 operation to have an ATP sometime down the road.
