Same thing that happened to the 747, and the 727 before that. All the positions would be displaced. Displaced NB's would be still be NB's, but their pay would be unaffected unless released to the line in new seat. If the company didn't offer enough vacancies to accomodate all the positions, then after the displacement musical chairs was complete, the junior guys would drop off into furlough. Over 65's would not have an airplane, and would have to retire.
