I could be miserable, however it is a state of mind. I am in m mid 30s, have been here for 10 years and fly wide-bodies. I see so many of my peers furloughed, or having to fly overseas, or flying at a less than desirable supplemental company. Could it be better, sure, it could also be a lot worse. It puts it all into perspective.
I do not like the thought of Eagle flying bigger jets, and I will strike over it. I do believe to a point we need feed, however I would like to see that feed flown by someone on the AA seniority list ( it is time to get one list together). We do have more in common than not, and will face bigger challenges in the future. It would be in our best interest to fight them together.
