Problem is that most ALPA members getting close to age 60 lost what they had. ALPA says
"Sorry guys, we know you have been loyal, dues paying ALPA members for 30-35 years, we failed to protect your pension, except for those employed in Herndon. Did you old guys really think that ALPA could, would protect your pension? Just pay your dues to the last day, shut up, and enjoy your PBGC payment?"
