I couldn't agree more! Pax are saying "Thank you for the safe flight" or "Thanks for getting us here safely" more often. I started hearing it more just after the Continental accident here in DEN. I do think it reminds people that although flying has become routine it really is in our hands (Pilots and FAs) that they put their lives and trust in our abilities and training. I just smile and thank them for their business.
