So, $24 an hour, 37.5 hours of pay in two weeks, so $900 every two weeks. Take 20% (state and federal) out for taxes, down to $720 net. Subtract another $65 or so for medical, dental, etc, and one is off to making approximately $650 a every two weeks. Not much pay for flying a 30 million dollar aircraft with 76 seats. Being that former regional pilots are standing in line for this job, that would mean this is not the first time some have taken home $325 a week in pay...

Being that unemployment pays up to $439/ week without dependants, one has to ask themselves, why am I working for almost next to nothing? Funny thing is, there are people standing in line.
