Air NZ does require you have the type ratings to start, just citizenship or residency ( I believe the same is true at the others). I am not sure if PacBlue or JetStar would accept your type. Hopefully Koru or one of the other smart guys can help.

I'm certainly not one of the "smart guys" on here, but I'm pretty sure you meant to type "doesn't" require the type rating. I'm more than positive Air NZ does not require a type to get hired on with them.
