Thumbs up Fat Bastard Weight Loss Challenge part II.

We had a good thread going over the span of a couple years. Lots of encouragement and a lot of fun. Rather than bring that one back from the dead I decided to start a new one. Here's the challenge, lose weight. Watching "Biggest Loser" hasn't hurt either.

Post your starting weight, the method being used to lose the weight, and how long you've been at it.

Me, I started at 200lbs. In the last "fat bastard" thread I was at 220.

So far, I've been eating better, and replacing the soda with water. Also started playing indoor soccer once a week in a neighborhood fun league. That was easy to do while on furlough. I'm down to 195 and have lost about an inch off my waist and my legs are much leaner from the running.

Once back at work next month (yay) I'm going to do a little more running rather than sitting on my butt at the crashpad and utilize the workout rooms at hotels for at least 30 minutes. Once back in my preferred base I'll probably get a gym membership and hit the gym while waiting for a call on reserve.

The goal is 175, the weight I raced bicycles at a few years ago. While still a bit high for my height (5'7") I have a very long torso and a wide frame. I can't get much below that without resorting to unhealthy means like not eating.
