Thanks for the feedback, everything said kind of confirms what I already knew or suspected, the HNL numbers are small, and as “Pilotpip” said, any opening would eagerly (and rightfully) go any one of the 100+ pilots they currently have on the street. I was just trying to get a feel for the size and potential growth of the operation should the industry/economy ever begin too turn around in another year or two.

On a side note, back over the summer I was offered a job flying Caravans out of Hilo for Mokulele, but I turned it down. I figured the 121 experience I’m currently getting out of ATL would be better than any 135 experience between the Islands. I plan to stay put for now and hope things at Hawaiian open up in a couple of years.
