It's ludicrous to suggest that I did not read the FCIF before posting about it. WHAT, exactly, is your point?

So, let's say I show at showtime, walk over to the folder, begin the paperwork drill and check FCIFs, read Jack's nice little note, and leave for the jet to arrive IAW FOM parameters. Did I receive a VIPS notification that my trip was revised to include a 5-minute-early block-out from Base Y? No. Then I'll fly the times on the printed pairing I carry in my shirt pocket.

I fly to Base Y, go to the hotel, report to the lobby, get a ride to the airport, and commence the paperwork drill once again. I complete my Flight Deck Prep, conduct a thorough crew briefing, and wait for the ramp to do their job. They finish early and inform me that it's OK for us to leave early.

That's nice.

The airplane says, "The World On Time"

If the ramp's running late... I'm allowed 10 minutes with the Weight & Balance paperwork. Does it take 10 minutes? Very seldom. Will I TAKE ten minutes? Yupp.

We'll know when the Company needs more than 100% from us.
