You do a systems CD at home and then come in for four or five days of FTD's with a classroom session in the AM. This is follow by your systems validation, (SV). It is a computer based test. Then you have a week of CPT's follow my a PV or Procedures Validation. Week Three is a few sims devoted to air work followed by a Maneuvers Validation. Week Four is what most refer to as LOFT base training, The week ends with a type ride. This is a LOFT or sernario based real time flight from point A to B with a a MCO (deferral) and a single systems malfunction.
Basically four weeks of SIM and you are off to IOE.
Nice! My ERJ gs, sims, checkride, and LOFT took 8 1/2wks. Then off to IOE.
