Hey guys,
Just trying to figure some of this stuff out. I have a FDX bid pack MEM A300 from Feb.
In looking at it and using the retirement chart here is my logic, pls tell me if I am right or wrong.
There were 278 lines in Feb. The fo that was 278 was seniority no. 3225. This means that a new hire today who would roughly be no. 4700 would have to move up ~1500 numbers assuming no growth to hold a line on the A300 out of MEM. Looking at the chart it would take about 10 years to do that.
Can this be true that if you wanted to hold a FO line on the a300 it could take that long?
I understand this logic has many assumptions, ie, no growth, everyone making it to 60, etc.
