3greens... it sounds to me like you have all your eggs in one basket. I'm going to also assume you're coming from a bridge program. Are you actively flying now or attempting to get a flying job (ie.. instructing, banner flying, etc) elsewhere? If not then you need to seriously think about what it is you really want to do.

There was a time not that long ago when many of the guys/gals at this company were flying beat up twins in the middle of the night five days a week and instructing in the day. They had to get 3000-4000 hours just for the opportunity to interview at Pinnacle. Things are starting to lean back in that direction and the only folks that will be successful in this business are the ones that are willing to do whatever it takes in the good times and bad times.

It's fine to inquire and keep yourself updated on the news at Pinnacle; however, if you aren't already then you need to be actively pursuing other opportunities. If that means you have to invest more in your career then so be it. If that means you have to take a job that isn't exactly what you want then so be it. The fast lane is closed.
