Very interesting post. I think some of this might hinge on exemptions to the contract that Delta MIGHT have made when the moved Mesa into airports where they knew performance would be a problem.
Delta seems to have got itself into several contracts that it would dump tomorrow if it could. SkyWest had Delta in a tough position and got a sweetheart deal.
