You should just be happy that he took the pay cut. Regardless of what we think, Fred certainly deserves his pay. Unlike some of those executive f*&kers on Wall Street, the Banks, and the Big 3 automakers, FedEx is still very profitable, and so our executives are earning their money. The aforementioned clowns, should not only be shot, but all their assets taken to repay both their employees as well as their investors. There, I feel so much better now.

Do you include the VP of flight in the category of "our executives are earning their money"?
If so, how, exactly did he earn it - by his brilliant and visionary manning decisions (cancelled bid awards, non-existent vacancies for over 60s, cancelled excess bids)?
or the skill and resourcefullness he used to open the two new foreign domiciles (oops, make that one) - to include the fully operational on schedule Asia hub operation (that's not even close to operational yet)?
or the way he's trying to compensate the company financially for his mistakes by taking money away from the pilots (4.A.2.b.)?
etc....etc....
yeah......he definitely earned his money.....
