"kinda sketchy" wow. I've heard the JB haters say alot of things but I've never heard "kinda sketchy". I can assure you that with my own two eyes I've never, ever seen anything happen here that was not approved in our FOM. JB, unlike many other airlines, has made both the cockpit and cabin jumpseat available to every approved rider possible. So yes you can ride our cabin jumpseat even if you RJ doesn't have one or even if your mainline boss doesn't reciporate the privilege to us. Your FAs can also ride a cabin jumpseat even if she doesn't have one to offer. No problem as long as the CA (PIC) says it "all good". Welcome aboard and sorry for being so "sketchy". By the way, for the FAs its called the FDO program...and they only get to do it once on each aircraft. I'll show it to you the next time you ask for a ride straight out of my "kinda sketchy FOM".
