That is so rare that I would recommend to everybody not to even think about it. I've never even heard of that before, and would have some serious reservations about working for a company that was so clueless. Logging time as a flight instructor is some of the most valuable time in my logbook, and I'm VERY glad I had that experience. Most people with a clue understand and recognize that... I dont think anyone was disputing the value of flight instucting, just stating the facts about some of the things that are being seen out there on apps. I will agree it seems more to be about pipeline patrol and ariel photography, than flight instructing per se, but thats just what i've seen, and ive only seen it twice. What im really wondering is if mabye the few that are doing that are trying to thin the herd so to speak, since Sorting through literal tons of pilot resumes right now in this climate must be a chore right now...I could be wrong, wondering about other peoples opinions
