Depending on where you are based, you will accumulate airline points on many different airlines fairly evenly or if you are based in a hub city, you will get a majority on one airline. I am in CMH and fly on almost everyone. I put all my Continental, NW, and Delta into my Continental account. I put all my USAir and United into my United account. I stay at a lot of Hiltons and do the airline miles into my Southwest account. I have only been at NetJets since the beginning of the year, but I already have one free ticket in the Continental account (combining all the skyteam airlines). I have one on Southwest and I'm almost half way to another there (they have the quickest free tickets). I am getting close on United and I'll get another free one from using the company card soon. I am guessing I'll end up with around 3 on Southwest a year and 2 to 3 others on top of it. However, since they will be very spread out, taking a family of 4 would either require sending them on different airlines or paying for some of them.
