KAL does not require you to pay for your sim check. They also fly you over and put you up at the Hyatt. If you make it past the sim check to the interview, they give you 100000 won (about 72 dollars currently) to cover expenses.

The only expenses for the trip are airport taxes (around 200 or so) for your ticket across. These are reimbursed your first paycheck (CCL at least). Other than that, just food (50% discount at the hotel) and a couple of cab rides (generally split between a couple of interviewees to save money).
