I hope I didn't come across that way. I'm not a sim instructor in the plane but have just flown it. Ask your friend.
I think the angst you caused to the other poster was deminishing the fine example of airmanship and skill displayed by the crew.
The engineering that goes into modern fly by wire aircraft is a necessity since there is no feel feedback to the pilot. He/she is still flying the aircraft in this situation and any Airbus magic available only helped not accomplished the maneuver they successfully completed.
See the difference?
