Who were the captains of the ferries that arrived in under three minutes to render aid?
The truth is most people want one "hero". Let the people have what they want. Get over it. Everyone who understands the operation of an airliner knows it was a CREW that made this flight a "successful failure."
I can speak for all of us, I think, when I say "thanks" to your dad. His story would be a nice thread here.
We DON'T want to get into a discussion of who the best quarterback of all time was. This entire board would be destroyed.
And ONE of the captains' names was Vince Lombardi, which I thought was kinda neat. It was the ferry where all of the rescued passengers were doing calesthenics and short windsprints.
