It's called intelligent negotiations... As the contract is up, TK is throwing his good old tactics to divert ALPA from what really should be negotiated in the upcoming contract, as a matter of fact, PSA is almost timing it perfectly to have every new contract negotiated in a recessionary period. Don't forget the current contract is also a "concessionary contract"... Negotiated during the previous downturn.

Reality is PSA has always been profitable as long as their employees are squeezed to death. They always have a good reason to give the 20+ year guy 13 days off a month on a non-commutable line, there is always a good reason to sit between turns for 4 hrs or sit in a hotel until 6 pm in the last day of the trip.

Sometimes you wonder if the Union is helping you or helping the company, then again ALPA udercutting other ALPA carriers... what else is new?
