"Join us and in a professional manner explain what it is we don't understand."

All Mr. Kelly wanted were gates in MDW for the ATA deal that morphed into competing with ATA on common routes which morphed into all under the wing services.
Our own spineless union reps have publicly stated the codeshare "ship has sailed."
I am fighting for job protections that will continue to add poolie koolies like you to the property.
Once intl codeshare is here, the next negotiation will broach the subject of domestic codeshare because we have now set a precedence that the goup does not object to it.
Too many of the currently employed will leap across the table to sell their futures for a raise that does not even keep close to what has been lost in the last 3+ years.
Once flying leaves the property it never comes back. Never. Only bean counters like codeshare. Ask a passenger that has to deal with alliances when the bottom falls out how codeshare was good for them.
Fact. Pilots and flight attendants have taken a pay cut for Jan and Feb due to less flying.
Fact. Our CEO and his underlings granted themselves hundreds of thousands of shares @ $6.95 last week. The same week he said that he cannot guarantee our job security.
Fact. Our management claims we are technologically incapable of going near international. Our codeshare partners with 35 years less experience can. JetBlue can. AirTran can. Spirit can.
My closert has too many uniform jackets where stripes were added and later removed due to all knowing management making bad decisions that are painful to watch happen again.
SWA is the best job I have ever had, and I am fighting to keep it that way.
We got to be #1 in pay because all the others gave back so much. But what cost the most to the others is the loss of flying. I will gladly trade current pay rates to keep all SWA passengers on SWA planes flown to any and all destinations.
That my friend, will get you out of the pool and on the property as quickly as possible. And maybe then you will come to the realiztion that this is a business and not some cheery social club that does not live up to all the public hype.
Fact. Our CEO's new order of importance. Stockholders, customers, employees.
