There have been long time rumors floating around SkyWest that there is some sort of agreement in the works for SkyWest to be a regional feed for Southwest.

To all current line pilots at Southwest that read these boards, PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!!!

I fly for SkyWest currently. I love my job, and I would not have it in the current aircraft I fly (CRJ) if the men and women at United and Delta did not give up their scope. What can I say, I came on the scene long after these things happened.

But as far as I am aware there is not a runway just about ANYWHERE that a CRJ can land at that a B737 cannot land at.

If a B737 can land there, then we all know who should be landing there. Period.
