Did I miss something? Were these pilots forced to fly into nighttime known icing conditions? Where is the ADM? The radar was indicating moderate to heavy precip in the area at the time of the accident. If it is icing to "blame", no doubt you can consider that a factor to the crash, but the only reason it happened is because they flew into those conditions during the most critical phase of flight in the first place. Excuses just don't cut it when people are dead.
