Seems we are all taking this a bit too personally. We all know the media is out of touch with reality. The public perception however, can mean a lot.

I know there are many very experienced pilots at the regional airlines, (I was one of them). But, if the public believes that the "big" airplanes have more qualified pilots, and we can get them to pay for it, it would have to open up opportunities for us all.

Who cares what someone else thinks about you, it's all about what they believe you're worth.
