Just look anywhere in this country... everything is owned by someone else. Brands that you thought were competitors, with a little digging, you find are partners or subsidiaries.
Take Philip Morris Company (Altria Group), owns about 20 different brands of Cigarettes... all competing for your business. Philip Morris also owns Kraft Foods, along with other subsidiaries General Foods and Nabisco and their various "brands."
Ever have trouble deciding which of the following for a quick dinner? Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Long John Silvers, KFC, or A&W's? All owned by the same company, Yum! Foods. (Which I *believe* is owned by PepsiCo.)
Makes you wonder about that New World Order theory
