I keep saying the reason we can't find Osama Bin Laden is because we're too damn worried about pilots trying to "sneak" their computers and fingernail files on the airplane, along with 85 year old grandma taking her correctol (which apparently might be used to make a big bomb on her flight from Boise to Cooper City). Funny, but no one cares one iota about the airport cops walking back and forth UNIMIPEDED through security. They never check their ID's, and I've yet to see ANY law enforcement respond to a door alarm. Furthermore, if you work for catering or cleaners, the chance of getting "checked" is ZERO...... yet they have to verify us while IN UNIFORM before every flight to ensure we're the "real" flightcrew. I'm surprised this hasn't happened more often. It's always nice being "checked" by some kid with a GED, grill on his teeth, tattoos on his neck, and nose and eyebrows pierced. Yep, I certainly feel more secure.
