Yes, it is truly sad when we lose any aviator, regardless of the job or level of experiance, we are all learning to achieve our dreams, and my heart goes out to the families and friends. I did not know the DCA people, but did train at that airport, and I know a lot of those students were exactly like we were when we all started down the long road of training.
