I was traveling under orders, and I was in my Class A greens. Now for you army folks you know that there is metal all over this thing.
Also, typical of the Army, your clothes are either to big or to small... My trousers are about 2 sizes to big..
I took off my jacket, ran it through, I asked the Screener f they could just use the wand on me, they said no, I had to follow procedures... So I pulled the belt out, and down my pants came... I pulled them off, put em in the tub, and walked to the metal detector...
Nothing was said to me, and I was in a main checkpoint...
I saw a Marine in Dress Blues yesterday in Orlando and I thought to myself what a pain that would be to go through security - and Class As have a ton of more metal than a PFCs Dress Blues

I have to admit though - I would be likely to insist on additional screeing behind the screens before I stripped out of my uniform in front of people and I would ask to have a supervisor there too along with a comment card. I feel sporry for you JayDee having to wear Class As to travel in though! Hope it wasn't a long trip.
