emb-145 avionics with APU start
on the EMB-145 when starting from a cold and dark cockpit, batteries come on and avionics 1 and/or 2 come on to check volts/temps, then if GPU is avail, can I connect it right then or do I have to shut the avionics back off before connecting the GPU to the elec. system? The reason I ask is because our checklist is saying we have to shut the avionics back off after checking volts and tempsif we are starting APU from batteries ie GPU NOT available. So i was wondering if this is also the case for connecting the GPU as well. thanks
