i stand in the entry way next to the FA1 almost every flight and greet our passangers... do you know how many people i see either kiss their finger and touch the fuselage or make the cross over their body with thier fingers (sorry dont if there's a proper name for that gesture as im Jewish, no disrespect intended). and it goes without saying theres a heavy volume of travellers that are leary of the aircrafts size. often i also field questions about rest... ya think i should tell'em well funny you should ask, we worked a 14 hour duty yesterday, got in at 2245 and had reduced rest last night before we fly 6.5 hours this morning?

So do pilots. For each pilot that might consider action, there will be 3 or 4 new ones in line that still think it doesn't apply to them (they will get that dreamjob).

The public is to ignorant. And a lot of people that fly, fly for their job, aka their companies makes the decision on how cheap the tickets are going to be.

If every pilot here, and the ones get get the information from someone here, writes their congressman, write articles to newspapers and keep doing that. Maybe then, and only then, you might start la Révolution.
great points... thats the whole point of this thread.. trying to drum up some support. Next time ALPA is at your domicle buying you a hambuger why dont ya ask the rep if he and his organiztion have any other plans to help you this year other than insulting you by tossing some food into the trough and hoping that'll tide you over until next year.

What the ***k happened to the Pilots I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my @ss from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer...
