Why is a crashpad not deductible? If you look in the code you can make a pretty good argument in the section about other than normal commuting expenses. It may save some bros some grief later if you have the bottom line as to why it is NOT deductible. Thanks.
Your domicile is considered your "tax home". Your crashpad is in your "tax home" and therefore cannot be deducted. This link explains it better.
