Unless LOA 2 can do something to sweeten the pot, I really don't see more than 2 more guys bidding the right seat. The reason it didn't get filled in the first place was the loa(s) suck. Plain and simple. At some point either the company or the union(maybe both) have to fess up and come to an agreement if they want to get this filled.

All of the excess in the world isn't going to change people's minds. Yes some of us near the bottom are scared, yes the economy and job markets suck right now, but are you willing to bid HKG(as a junior guy), and still have the realization, that I could still be furloughed by the end of the year if things don't start to turn around.

If it cost 2.5 siba guys to cover one FO's flying, (not including the cost of plane tickets), at some point the company should do something to fix the situation.

My 2 cents, but I will be furloughed before I take that crappy loa over there.
