Default FDX retirement age to 65

Whereas anyone born after 1955 won't qualify for full soc security benefits until age 66 and 2 months,

Whereas anyone born after 1960 won't fully qualify for soc sec benefits until age 67,

Whereas the trend in Washington is to continue to move this date to the right,

Whereas all fully retired military pilots will be working until age 65,

Whereas we know the retirement age will eventually be defined as not fully qualified until age 65 anyway

And in order to align our contract language with our Union's expressed desire to have pilots remain working until age 65,

It's time to push for a contract modification to mandate age 65 as the contractually defined retirement age. Let's get the discussion on the table right now. I propose we get a vote before the union soonest.

Thoughts?
